Polybutylene succinate (PBS) is a polymer compound. It is a white semi crystalline polymer. Easy to dissolve in chloroform, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran, almost insoluble in water, methanol or ethanol. According to different molecular structures and weights, the crystallinity range is 30%~60%, and the crystallization temperature is 75 ℃. Its structural units contain easily hydrolyzable ester groups, which are easily decomposed and metabolized by various microorganisms in nature or enzymes in animals and plants under conditions such as composting and contact with specific microorganisms, ultimately forming CO2 and H2O to avoid environmental pollution
